We Start With a
Wayfinding Session
Because this work is nuanced and deeply personal, even the first step deserves time and care.
So that we can thoughtfully and spaciously explore what may be most supportive for you, I offer a one-time, 50-minute session for a single payment, with zero pressure to continue.
It’s a chance to arrive fully, look into some of your questions with care, and explore whether working together feels right.
Before our session, I’ll ask that you answer a few questions to get a better sense of the kind of support you are seeking, in as much or as little detail as feels supportive to you.
While we won’t have time to unravel every question or turn every page in your story, you can expect to walk away with:
Personalized insight into your unique experience, whether
of pain or symptoms—what might be contributing, what your body may be communicating,
or
of what you want to bring into being for your practice helping others heal,
and where we might begin to invite more ease and vitality;
Clarity on the kind of support that would serve you best at this point in your learning and/or healing journey;
Relief from pressure to have it all figured out, fix everything, or do it alone;
Thoughtful referrals if another path feels more aligned.
Investment £350
After this session, you have the option to move forward with two more sessions for the in-depth assessment package, with a remaining balance of £600.
Alternatively, you can choose to credit this fee toward my 6-month mentoring program (Reclaim Your Life or Replenish Your Practice) within the next 14 days.

If we haven’t met…
I’m Dr. Lilia Graue.
I’m a Physician, Psychotherapist, and Mindbody Healing Mentor with 25+ years of clinical and teaching experience.
I’m also someone who lived with persistent pain for 10 years before discovering a neural repatterning program that led to my recovery.
Before that, it seemed as though I had tried everything.
I was convinced I would never again be able to exercise freely, sit for long conversations, or travel without my special pillow. But here I am, doing all of that and more.
Amazed and inspired, in 2021 I took a semi-sabbatical to further my studies in the neuroscience of pain, psychoneuroimmunology, and mindbody medicine. Since then, I’ve been supporting people on their healing journeys, and mentoring fellow mindbody practitioners who are looking to grow, deepen their work, and thrive in their practice.
In the years since, I’ve witnessed incredible healing, learning, and growth—not only in those recovering from chronic pain, fatigue, and other symptoms, but also in fellow practitioners deepening their skill, reconnecting with their purpose, and finding renewed energy in their work.
This path offers more than symptom relief or clinical tools; it opens the door to transformation, resilience, and a more expansive way of relating to ourselves, our work, and those we support.
Every one of us — whether healing, supporting others, or both — brings a unique story, a distinct set of challenges, and inner resources. While there’s no single path, this work can open doors to change that once felt out of reach, often leading to possibilities more meaningful, liberating, and life-giving than we ever imagined.

FAQs
-
Mindbody mentoring and coaching is a supportive, relationship-based process that integrates three complementary strands of work: (1) broader life and wellbeing mentoring, (2) pain education grounded in neuroscience, and (3) mindbody coaching in support of persistent pain and neuroplastic symptom recovery.
Across all strands, the work is grounded in the understanding that physical health, emotional experience, behaviour, and nervous system functioning are interconnected, and that meaningful change can be supported through reflection, awareness, and practical application over time.
It draws on experience-informed guidance, including the practitioner's own lived experience of persistent symptoms and healing, alongside contemporary understandings from neuroscience, pain science, and mindbody approaches, and is oriented towards greater self-awareness, agency, and flexibility.
This may include exploration of habits, lifestyle factors such as movement, rest, and nutrition, relational patterns, stress responses, and the development of skills such as goal setting, emotional awareness, boundary setting, and resilience. It may also include mindfulness-based and somatic practices in support of nervous system regulation and adaptability.
Within the mindbody coaching aspect of this work, it may additionally integrate concepts, principles, and practices drawn from a range of approaches grounded in neuroplasticity and contemporary pain science, including Pain Reprocessing, Emotional Awareness and Expression, mindfulness- and compassion-based programmes, and somatic practices. These are used as educational and experiential tools within a coaching context, supporting exploration of patterns and responses that may be associated with persistent physical symptoms.
This work does not constitute medical or mental health diagnosis, treatment, or care. It is not a substitute for medical services or psychotherapy and is intended to complement, not replace, any existing healthcare support. You are encouraged to consult appropriate professionals where needed.

Let’s meet for a Wayfinding Session!
I don’t offer complimentary discovery calls, and I’d love to share why.
This work is nuanced and complex. In my experience, 15–30 minutes isn’t enough time for your nervous system to settle, for me to meaningfully understand your experience, or for either of us to assess fit with the care it deserves. Those short sessions can end up feeling rushed, and don’t allow for the kind of presence I value at every stage of this work.
Rather than offer a brief call that risks feeling transactional or performative, I invite you to begin with a Wayfinding Session, a one-time, 50-minute paid session. This is not a sales pitch. It’s a chance to arrive fully, explore some of your questions with care, and explore whether working together feels right and if so, at what pace.
While I won’t be able to answer every question you might have or dive into every aspect of your story in just one session, what I can do is offer perspective, insight, and clarity about possible next steps. If it’s a fit, we can continue. And if not, I’ll point you toward thoughtful referrals or resources that may better serve you.

The most truthful answer is time will tell.
Many clients who experience meaningful shifts work with me for 6-12 months, some for 3-4 months, and some for 18 months or longer.
The amount of time and support needed may vary depending on a number of circumstances.
If you’re interested in working with me, I offer a 6 month pathway as a starting point, which includes 8 weekly sessions followed by 8 bi-weekly sessions. After more than two decades of working closely with clients, this 6-month rhythm and duration has been the most supportive in creating momentum and sustained learning, healing, and integration.
That said, the mentorship pathways I offer are designed to be flexible and responsive, with a range of time frames to support your unique needs. If a different structure feels more aligned for you, we can explore possibilities together. Book your Wayfinding Session and we’ll explore the best fit for you.
-
My core 6-month mentorship pathways begin with weekly sessions for the first 8 weeks, then shift to bi-weekly sessions. This rhythm reflects the structure I have found most supportive in practice over many years of working with clients.
I also offer a more flexible format with a minimum three-month commitment and at least bi-weekly sessions. We can explore options together in a Wayfinding Session.
-
Sessions are 50 minutes and shaped by your needs at that moment. We may explore education around pain science or nervous system regulation, bring awareness to stuck patterns, practice mindfulness tools and somatic techniques together, offer space to connect with emotions that have been hard to access or express, or tend to grief around loss and recovery — yes, there is grief around recovering and healing too.
If you’re a practitioner, the focus of our work together will encompass your professional practice and your life, because they are inseparable. Each session is shaped by what’s present for you. We may explore emotional and energetic patterns in your work and life, clarify what needs your attention, do case consultation, tend to grief, engage in somatic practices, or collaborate on practical elements like pricing, capacity, and scheduling.
Some sessions are more spacious and reflective; others are more focused or strategic. All are grounded in care, curiosity, compassion, collaboration, and mutual respect. We move at the pace your bodymind can integrate.
-
I offer between-session email or WhatsApp communication for my 6-month mentoring program. Otherwise, our work together will be focused within our scheduled sessions. This boundary supports the depth and sustainability of the care I provide, and also honors your capacity to integrate the work between sessions.
-
If you’re new to my work, we can begin with a one-time Wayfinding Session.
Ongoing mentorship is available through programs with a set timeframe. I offer a 6-month pathway as a starting point, as I’ve found that this rhythm and duration meaningfully support momentum and sustained integration over time.
I also offer a more flexible format with a minimum three-month commitment and at least bi-weekly sessions.
We can explore options together in a Wayfinding Session. At this time, I don’t offer session-by-session availability for new clients.
Once you’ve completed a mentorship program, you’re welcome to add individual sessions as needed.
And if we’ve worked together before, I’m always glad to offer one-off sessions to check in and support you on your ongoing journey.

Many of my clients experience mental health challenges, or have received diagnoses including depression, anxiety, and post-traumatic stress, and find this work deeply supportive. If you are receiving care from a psychiatrist or other mental health professional, this work is intended to complement, not replace, that care. Continuing with your treating clinician is an important part of the process.
Many symptoms in the realm of mental health can be understood in different ways from a mindbody and person-centered perspective. We can conceive them as understandable manifestations of distress and protective mechanisms, making sense of them in a way that honors your unique story, context, and culture. I don’t believe our challenges are signs of something broken or disordered, but rather meaningful responses to the complexities of our life and environment. And experiencing chronic pain can cause significant emotional distress in and of itself.
Together, we will explore what’s arising with curiosity and compassion, creating space for insight, healing, and change that’s rooted in connection and understanding, not labels.
It is important to note that while I bring decades of experience as a physician and psychotherapist to our work, the nature, content, and scope of this assessment and the work we do together depends on where you are located. For clients physically located in Mexico, this work may form part of clinical care within my professional licensure. For clients outside Mexico, this assessment is educational and consultative in nature, content, and scope, and I do not diagnose or provide treatment for medical or mental health conditions. I offer compassionate presence, education, nervous system and trauma-informed support, and collaborative meaning-making. If you are in active crisis or require clinical mental health care, it is important that you work with a licensed therapist, psychiatrist, or appropriate medical provider as part of your support system.
There are also situations that fall outside the scope of my practice. I do not work with individuals experiencing active suicidal ideation, substance use disorders, bipolar disorder, psychotic disorders such as schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder, or other severe mental illnesses. Post-traumatic symptoms that significantly impair daily functioning or require intensive treatment are also beyond the scope of what I offer. I am happy to discuss whether working together is a good fit during an initial consultation.
If at any point it becomes clear that you would benefit from a different level, type, or structure of support than what I offer within my scope of practice, I will encourage you to seek additional or alternative care and may discontinue our work together if this format is no longer appropriate.

If you believe you're dealing with a new, acute, or urgent medical issue, it's important to consult a licensed healthcare provider in your country. If you need personalized guidance around prescribing or deprescribing, you will need to address this with your prescribing clinician and/or seek expert medical advice with a provider specializing in deprescribing. If you’re in Mexico and we’re working in the context of my medical or psychotherapy services, I will provide a referral for this purpose, as I do not prescribe medications or oversee deprescribing.
While I do not diagnose or provide medical treatment in the context of mentorship, I bring decades of clinical and teaching experience into our work. I can offer education, context, and perspective to help you better understand your symptoms and have more informed conversations with your care team.
Research and lived experience accounts suggest that people with neuroplastic symptoms can have significant health anxiety even after thorough evaluation. A mindbody approach and neural repatterning practices can play a meaningful role in addressing both symptoms and anxiety. If this resonates with your experience, we can explore whether this work might be relevant for you.
-
While I only offer clinical care as a physician and psychotherapist to individuals in Mexico, I bring those lenses — and that extensive training and experience — into every session of pain recovery mentorship.
This means I can help you:
Make sense of complex medical language;
Translate confusing or scary diagnoses or findings;
Integrate context and nuance in a way that reduces fear and overwhelm;
Offer educational guidance that’s both accurate and compassionate.
Rather than spiral or get lost down rabbit holes of internet searches or worst-case scenarios, you gain access to insight, grounded education, and practical guidance rooted in expertise and evidence-based practice.
After 25 years of practicing medicine and psychotherapy, I am deeply comfortable with the full range of human experience, from health to debilitating illness, from uncertain prognosis to end of life, and from deep challenge to thriving through connection, creativity, and purpose.
I’ve sat with people of all ages in moments of all-consuming fear and grief, physical vulnerability, emotional complexity, trauma responses, and profound transition, as well as moments of expansive joy, deep love, and the vibrant aliveness that can emerge even in the midst of loss and difficulty.
This has deepened my ability to stay present, attuned, and steady even in experiences that may feel especially intense, unsettling, triggering, or overwhelming.
You don’t have to go through those moments alone. I will meet what unfolds with radical presence, curiosity, clarity, and compassion.
-
My rates are structured with care and intention to reflect the time, expertise, presence, and labor — emotional, intellectual, and somatic — that this work requires, while also sustaining my practice and meeting my financial needs and commitments, including caregiving for my elders in Mexico. This allows me to continue working in a sustainable way.
Fair compensation for care work, particularly for women and practitioners from historically excluded communities, is part of the more just world I’m working toward.
I'm not currently able to offer sliding scale. For those for whom cost of my 1:1 sessions is a barrier, I offer a growing library of free resources and practices, periodic free or low-cost workshops, and group spaces. If you'd like to stay connected and be the first to hear when new offerings become available, you're warmly invited to join my mailing list.

I provide a standard payment receipt reflecting the nature of the service as described in the Scope of Services section of my Terms & Conditions. I do not provide superbills, insurance claim forms, diagnostic or procedural codes, or additional documentation for insurance purposes beyond this standard receipt.
